In fact, in recent statistics, the number of Northern Virginia home sales rose by nearly 5 percent in May 2009, proving that homes for sale in Northern Virginia still fare better than the rest of the country’s housing markets.
During the month of May 2009, Northern Virginia home sales reached 1,803, which is higher that that of the same month in 2008, where the number of homes sold was 1,724; according to the market research firm, Metropolitan Regional Information Systems Inc.
